I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 34 years. We have two wonderful sons and daughters-in-law.
I have been sewing since 9th grade. I use to make all my clothes and even sewed for my boys when they were young. My mother and maternal grandmother both sewed and quilted. I started quilting when my grandmother gave me a hand pieced top. So I jumped right in and started hand quilting the queen size top on a hoop. That was in 1999. I still haven't finished that top. Then life got in the way so all my hobbies got put on the back burner. I started back a couple of years ago.

Welcome from Ohio! We visited Oklahoma this summer and we have wonderful memories of it!
I bought a pattern from a quilt shop there, it's called "Pieces of the west", can't wait to work on it.
We had a blast at the quilt shop, because my husband called the state bird (scissord tailed fly catcher) a parrot.
This pretty much gave away, that we weren't from Oklahoma. It was fun!
