Talking Hello from the open road

HI, My name is Jay. My wife and I are traveling the country in our motorhome. she introduced me to sewing last year and i'm going nuts. we travel with the bike show circuit and i want to sew patches on jackets etc. my question is this. Is the babylock ellisimo gold( used machine) tough enough for this? I quilt all the time with denim and i think the machine will be fine there but leather coats might be a different thing. thank you so very much. Jay

I can't honestly answer your question, since I'm not familiar with that machine, but you might want to think about getting a vintage machine, for doing what you want to do.

I don’t know if The machine is strong enough. But, you will need to get the correct needle to work with. I can do with a jeans needle. There is also a leather needle that you can get
