Hello from Near Seattle, I'm in Renton actually.
I was a happy solo quilter for many years and then discovered the joys of sewing with others. It makes such a difference! I belonged to a quilt guild for a number of years but I met my husband, the guild moved locations, my vision no longer allows me to drive at night time. But here on the boards we can chat with people who understand and share pictures as well as our stories and concerns. And being on the internet we can choose when and how and how often we share.

Welcome from Texas. I am a "lone" quilter. I don't belong to any clubs, guilds, etc. This board is my go to place when I want/need help, encouragement & interaction with other quilters. I think you will really like it here.

Welcome to the board. I'm from Tacoma and thought I liked to quilt because of my introvert tendencies! !!! You get around other quilters and you just can't shut up! LOL!
