Wow what a small world. My husband was from Red Springs, NC and his relatives lived in Parkton. I haven't been there in quite a while, but imagine not much has changed?

Lord have mercy! Haven't heard Parkton in a coon's age! Two aunts went to Flora Mac back in the day and my grand parents met working in the textile mills in Lumberton nearly 100 years ago. I grew up on the Cape Fear River in Bladen County. Glad to see people still live in that part of the world and are still quilting!
Welcome from the Albemarle Sound where the fish are biting and crabbing is good. This is important as I get to quilt when this happens!
