Welcome from Missouri. I just got home from a vacation that started in Lisbon. You live in a beautiful city. We really enjoyed the Monument of Discovery, your bridge like our Golden Gate BRidge, Vosco da Gamas' house of points, and all the bridal shops. A young lady at the hotel was telling us about the tradition that young brides get married on June 13(I think) and how it was a party day all day with people grilling sardines on the sidewalks and celebrating into the night. I bet that is delightful. Lisbon was a great place to visit but I never saw a fabric shop. I wanted to get a couple of squares for the "I Spy" quilts I will start this winter. I should have met you and I bet you could have told me where to look. I hope you enjoy the board.
