Thanks, everyone, for the kind words - now that I've figured out how to download an avatar, I am showing a few blocks from my batik quilt - also posted it in the pictures section, title "my best quilt ... so far" (or something like that, can't remember ... my mind is like a sieve sometimes!) I have to go back to work, but my mind and heart are here. Sigh.
