Hello from Southern Arizona
I have been sewing/quilting/crafting forever, I made my 1st quilt when I was a young teenager. I have received great information when I have done searches on your boards, and I figured it was time that I joined. I am in my "Taste of Retirement" mode, I got laid off 2 months ago because of COVID, and unfortunately no job prospects in sight. So I looked up some of my old Craftsy classes and have decided to teach myself how to free motion quilt. I have been following Cindy Needham on Facebook, who is giving out free classes on free motion quilting. Quilters are the Coolest!!
I hope to keep learning from you guys, and maybe I can help some of you out there

Welcome to the QB from SE Michigan! Jump right in and join the fun. There is so much here I don't know where to tell you to start. I start my day with New Post. This way I try to catch a bit of everything. So much to share and so much to learn. Looking forward to your input. Again welcome to the QB!

Welcome from Texas. So glad you are learning free motion quilting. A couple of other great teachers are Angela Walters & Leah Day. Hope you get the info you need. The internet is such a great source for information & instruction.

Welcome from Maine. There is lots of good information here, I have learned so much from everyone here. Sorry about your situation caused by Covid, but what a nice twist to take the time to learn a new skill. Looking forward to seeing your work. Happy quilting 😁
