Default Hello!

I replaced my old sewing machine (it was a hand me down from my mom, and finally quit altogether). I've been a fiber enthusiast for a while, on the knitting, crocheting, and spinning side of things.

In the week after getting my new machine, I made 4 dresses and a shirt for my daughter. I decided I needed to find a project(s) that would take me longer, so I got a kit for a throw sized quilt. I finished that last week and am happily working on the next one (twin sized for my sister.) I absolutely loved every step of making it, and have found a new craft to add to my list.

My first quilt:

My hubby has claimed it as his snuggly for watching TV, and my daughter thinks I should make at least 2 more this size so we can all use one at the same time.
