Hello!
I've been a seamstress for many years, sewing clothing for myself, my kids, and then as a crafter making doll clothes.
I've reached a new season in life. The kids are almost grown, my daughter no longer has an interest in doll clothes or doing craft shows with me, so I've decided to get back into quilting.
Classes begin tomorrow at a local quilt shop. I look forward to this new season in my life.

Hello & welcome from Texas. Sounds like your past sewing/hobby experiences are just perfect for getting into quilting. I think you will love it. This is a good place to be if you have any questions/suggestions/etc. There is a lot of help & encouragement on this quilting board.
