    Welcome to quilting! I started quilting at 15 too, taught myself from library books. I sure wished I had a teacher/coach! My first quilt is quite a mess.

    Welcome from North Carolina. I didn't begin quilting until I was 66 and I'm self taught. At your age you have a great opportunity to learn so much ... and this Board has some amazng quilters with a great deal of knowledge. Good luck with your new adventure.
