Hi, this is my first posting here and found your site quite by chance. I am from England, UK, and have been doing this wonderul hobby for about 5 years. I have been married to my DH for 40 wonderful years in November. We have 2 Daughters and 4 Grandchildren. I belong to a couple of groups who meet once a month and where we have speakers, workshops etc.
I am in the middle of doing a Dear Jane quilt and have got the books with the intention to start a Farmer's Wife Quilt and Sylvia's Bridal Sampler SOON !!!
I have read a few posts and see one lady would like to start a Farmer's Wife Quilt group - that would be great.
My DH and I are hoping to come to Texas (not far from Dallas) in September. We stay with some friends and ALWAYS bring a suitcase with not much in it, so I can visit your wonderful quilt and fabric shops!!! It is so expensive here in the UK to buy fabric so I stock up when we come over !!!
I have just upgraded my sewing machine and have got a Pfaff Quilt Expression 4. It is a really nice machine and I am very pleased with the way it sews. It has a huge throat and good lighting.
I am looking forward to getting to know you and learn more about our mutual hobby.
