Hi All,
I've been sewing for over 50 years. From making clothing including men's clothing all sorts of woman's clothing, tailoring suits and children's clothing. I've even done some small upholstery projects, made curtains, drapes, slip covers, etc. Just about everything one might sew for themselves or their family. I am an RN and live in Connecticut with my husband. I have three adult sons.
I am quite new to quilting. About 30 years ago, I took a class and made a quilted pillow. No quilting since then.
I was able to buy a used embroidery machine that I also use for quilting and even a quilting frame. Haven’t used the frame yet. Still have to put it together but I am looking forward to using it.
I am sure after reading some of the posts that there are many very talented quilters on this list. I am sure I will learn a lot.
Maureen
