I can understand your passion and the Guild sounds very nice.
Perhaps when Northern Deb and the Snowbirds start coming back to Tucson the three of us could meet, have coffee and share any projects we are working on.
If that sounds like a good idea, just drop me an email at: [email protected]. and we can swap phone numbers.

Wonderful, Rose...
At this rate we may be able to form our own chapter of
Quilted Paradise!
I moved here from the Sonoma/Santa Rosa area a decade ago, and that is where I learned to quilt.
Just let us know if you make any exploratory trips. We might be able to help with information, etc.

Rose - When you get ready to move to Tucson, let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I've been here (this time) 4 years and absolutely love it. I was stationed here 83-86 and didn't find another place I liked better :)

Hi and welcome to the Board Sharon. I'm a Snowbird, so maybe I'll see you next winter. A comple other Tucsonans that hang out here and I have already talked about getting together.
I had not read this whole thread before I posted, so I'm adding an edit.
There are EVEN more Tucsonans than I knew about! It will be fun to meet you all when I get back to the desert. One of the many things, besides the desert, that I love about Tucson, is having 4 places to buy fabric etc within 10 minutes of my house! In CT, there's a JoAnn's 10 minutes away, but the closest LQS is 30 minutes - and that's when the roads aren't torn up having potholes fixed!
