Hello, and welcome from another Michigander!  I'll say a prayer for you regarding finding a job. My fiance has been laid off for 1 1/2 years now. He is so concerned about what will happen once his unemployment runs out.

Yes, things are really bad here in Michigan. I actually lost my job over 1 1/2 years ago now and while it was only part time and I am of retirement age, the extra money helped pay the bills and paid for my hobbies - my son (who has a family of 3) also lost his job and hasn't been able to find work. Thanks for your prayers.

Welcome from yet another Michigander. Yes, jobs are hard to come by here in Michigan and I sure hope things get better soon.

You'll soon find you're among friends here on the board. Glad to hear that you've got alot of stash to use.

Cute pup you have there.

Welcome Ann! I have a friend who teaches fun Quilting classes at the Creative Corners in Romeo. She is great to work with, so stop by the shop and ask for Sharon.
