Hey from Shelby NC!

Wow! I'm overwhelmed by the number of NC quilters!
I love lowering the age averages. I only get mad when I show up at a guild meeting and everyone starts looking over my shoulder for my mother. She hasn't touched a needle or sewing machine in at least 15 years!
Here's a photo of my latest quilt that will be at the NC Quilt Symposium this weekend. If you're in Raleigh or within driving distance you really should come out, it's going to be a terrific show!

I think our K is becoming more gallic. The english translation would be "if the shoe fits.....". But chapeau sounds so much better in french!!!

In England we say 'if the cap fits' in Holland they say shoe as well!
Mais c'est comme tu veux! :D

Welcome Leah from New York. I know Shelby NC real well. My grandmother lives there and my mother lived there before her death. We will be traveling there in July! My father lives in Terrell NC about an hour away.
Glad to have you here on the board.
