Welcome bearpaw! That is one of my favorite patterns! I might live close to you. I am in orange county, NY. An hour or so from shohola, PA. I love Lancaster County. Love love love it.

I really like the bear paw pattern too. Haven't made one yet, it's on my "to do" list.
There's a really pretty pattern at the McCalls website for a bear paw quilt

The only thing that scares me is: "The great expanses of white fabric leave ample room for displaying intricate quilting skills". Not too sure about my "quilting skill"!!
