i'm originally from chgo area. hear it's been pretty rough there. a friend said they were out of power for 2 days, including Christmas. it may be crazy, but i miss the snow and after 17 yrs of living in georigia, still cannot muster up any Christmas spirit when the flowers are blooming in my yard.

forgot to tell you -- love your quilt you've posted. i have a request for a black & white quilt and will start that as soon as i finish the log cabin i started a few months ago. i picked a more modern pattern for the b & w. i think it will go a bit faster than the log. wish i had a maid so i could devote all my time to quilting & the other creative stuff i like.

cherrysixty, i think i know the type of ruler you're referring to. i've seen them at walmart. i'll have to try that. thanks.
Now, it will shift on you when usung your rotary cutter, so keep your fingers out the way and hold down tight on it.

Savannah is one of my favorite places! For us, flowers blooming have always been a part of Christmas. I'm anxious to get going on some things for ME now that Christmas is over.

You don't use the lines on your cutting mat, you use the lines on your rulers.
