I've been quilting now for about 8 years. Totally addicted (like I'm addicted to extra-dark chocolate addicted). Love to do hand applique and am working at improving that skill. Also love to hand quilt and am working at improving that also. I love quilts with a more traditional style, but can appreciate quilts from the whole spectrum.

I am married to a wonderful man and have four children who we are homeschooling.

I try to maintain a blog, but the daily activities keep from doing it as often as I would like.

Welcome Kara, from Southern California. This is an addicting hobby isn't it? I also have 4 children but as of Aug 13, we have an empty nest :cry: :lol: I miss them!! Anyway, this is a great place to get lots of inspiration and ideas and kudos!!!

Hi, Kara. Welcome from NM. We have 2 kiddos so far... plan on 4. We're thinking seriously of homeschooling. Our oldest is 2 1/2 and we are doing preschool with her currently. She LOVES it (as do I).
This is a great place to get all kinds of advice, inspiration, and SUPPORT for our addiction. :lol: (Aren't most support groups for the BREAKING of addictions?)
Anyway, this is a great group of women (and a few men)!
