Hi from Alton, IL

Just found you! I'm retired and have some fabric to get quilted.
Also have the obsession of buying up unfinished blocks & quilt tops from the Alton Exchange and then finishing them into quilts. Someone went to a lot of trouble to get them that far so I just go behind them and finish up.
I live with my oldest son, my daughter is married & lives in Everett, WA and my youngest son teaches English at a University in South Korea.
Now that I don't have to get to work anymore, I have time to try to get healthy. In January of 2009 I quit smoking after 45 years. Now I lift weights, exercise & walk daily. Use a stepper while watching tv.
Also make red heel sock monkeys. And I collect/make pincushions.

Welcome from the Land of Lincoln! I live north of Springfield. I've been to Alton several times, but not for a while. We tried finding bald eagles once at Alton on the Mississippi River during a January blizzard. Couldn't see much...a memorable weekend for our family.
