I work full time too, and haven't done much quilting in the past few years. I've been inspired by reading the Quilters Apprentice series and now I am determined to get back to it.

It's south of Cleveland. My daughter ( the one who is getting married ) lives in Kettering and went to UD. One of my best friends lives in Waynesville. Have you heard of the Fabric Shack?

Yes, I've been to the Fabric Shack a few times, but not in a while. We go to Waynesville a couple times a year and always go to the Sauerkraut Festival. Kettering is just south of us. About 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic. I have several friends that live in Kettering.

It's a fun place to go. The Fabric Shack has a lot of fabric. I like Waynesville's town, too. It's fun to make a day of it with friends and go to the antique and gift shops.

Welcome to the board from Southern California!!!

You can use any pattern you want to and just use her favorite colors or the colors she plans to decorate the house in.

Is it a surprise? If not let her pick out a pattern (that you give her a choice of) and let her pick out a couple of the fabrics (you pick the rest)
