How far away from Tollhouse, Ca. are you? I spent summers with my grands there, Really hot for an Oregon coast girl.

Welcome to the board, I'm sure you will like it here the members are so friendly and they know their quilting. And they also have a great sense of humor.

Sending some cool air your way.

Hello and welcome from Napa Valley! You're gonna love it here but prepare to spend lots of time reading, responding and looking at lots of great quilts.

Kwiltkrazy, Placerville is half way between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe. It's about 4 hours north of Tollhouse. Thanks for sending the cool air but I think somebody snagged it on it's way down from Oregon. Not a heat loving person so can't wait for the heat to be gone. October is always start of cooling and makes me want to quilt even more.

Pennylynne, I couldn't take the heat there either. But, I do miss the early mornings, and the evenings under the twinkling stars. They seemed like you could actually reach out and touch them.
