Thank you for the warm welcome, everyone. How amazing to meet folks from all over the country and the world! Makes me want to take a road trip. And a plane trip too, to get down to Australia -- where it must be summer now.

My best friend and I had lunch today and I took her by the quilt shop so she could see everything. I knew that she'd love the quilts, and I admit that a wee little part of me was wishing she'd want to get into quilting to. Who knows, maybe she will. And of course I had to buy some fat quarters while we were there...
