Hi from the English seaside

Welcome from Australia, where the drought has finally broken and we are now complaining about the rain.
I don't know that machine, but I do know that you can get some great value in preused machines if they are in good shape. I'd be trying to work out why the owner was selling. Some machines are just cantankerous and I'd be checking out if it was being divorced for that reason (I keep threatening to sell mine, although actually we are getting along a lot better these days- I am putting more into the relationship!)

Welcome and hope your fingers heal quickly. I have a Pfaff 1471 that I bought new back in 1985, wouldn't trade it for the world. It has been a great machine and does FMQ very well. In my opinion you can't go wrong with this machine but, be sure to sew on it and check it out first.
