Wow, sorry to hear about your LA quilting experience. Maybe you should discuss this with another LA quilter and see if there is a way to salvage all your hard work.
and welcome to the board from another soggy, grey, dismal state- western NY- where the sun only shines when I have to work, and it quickly reverts to rain when I try to go to the camper for the weekend

Hi I am so sorry that your quilt was ruined. I would ask for her to pay for it she ruined it.

Linda, it saddens me to hear about your quilt. Hopefully, she will listen to your complaint and at least reimburse you for your fabric. Good luck to you! Please let us know the outcome.
Oh, and welcome from Minnesota! We are glad you joined us!

Thank you all for your responses! I am in beautiful Lake Havasu, AZ and no clouds to be seen.

The person who ruined my quilt now says she can repair it but I hesitate to let her try. The only way to fix it is to remove all of her stitches and in places it is as thick as embroidery and very tiny stitches throughout. I think it would leave holes in the fabric. I really don't want to leave it with her and feel my best option is to have her pay me for the quilt and then give it to her if she wants to repair it. What do you think?

And for my next quilt-- are there any quilters in Havasu?
