Garfield is NE of Fayetteville on hwy 62. I live on Beaver Lake in Lost Bridge Village. You probably heard of it because a lot of people come here for fishing and boating. They hold striper tournaments.

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome and yes, I'm having a blast with my LAQ. My friend said I could do what I want on her quilt and my creativity kicked in. I have learned a few things. Bad seems are hard to quilt over and dull the needle,they also cause the machine to become partially unthreaded, if you don't notice right away you get to spend hours ripping out, a backwards needle cuts the thread,a poorly pieced quilt is a real challenge and stippling is harder than it looks. I learned these things on the quilt before this one so now it's fun.
