I have never been to Hackensack. I love the name though!

Welcome from St. Paul. Looks like a beautiful day (albeit hotter'n Hades). But hey, no complaints after our winter. I am bottling every nice day up and come next January I will open a bottle and enjoy the humidity, the heat and the feeling that you are breathing under water! Minnesota humidity is something else. But I love our state. The iris are beautiful this year, big, plump and smell like Heaven. The grass is thick and lush. We have a neighbor (a doctor) who aerated our lawn last Fall and put 1/2 and 1/2 cow and horse manure in our gardens. Maybe it's the aeration and kuh scheis, but the weather played a big part in the beauty of Minnesota this year.

I sit at my sewing table and look out the window (facing east - gorgeous in the morning) and enjoy the day. Edie

Hi - Very warm 'Welcome' from another Minnesnowtan! I've been through Hackensack multiple times, have stopped in the quilt shop there on the main drag going through town - very nice - and the ladies were excited to see my quilts I was hauling up to my Aunt's in Cass Lake - and it was just minutes before closing time! I'll never forget that visit! Love Minnesota - no other state like it! You'll love it here on the board - evrybody is so friendly and helpful - sharing & caring!
