Willow, my great grandmother Charlotte Hebditch Thornhill, born in Lameline, NF, pieced (prior to 1915) the first quilt I ever quilted. Coincidentally, I just posted a pix of it tonite. Maybe I should post it here too.

Welcome to the board Willow. You are going to have so much fun here and will make many friends. You will find we are a warm caring bunch of people. BTW do you make Fish & Bruise ? My mother used to make it for my father who was from St. Johns, NFLD. Bye for now.

Welcome from Oklahoma with a Massachusetts accent. So happy you could be here. There is always room for one more quilter.

Love your avatar.

Yes I do make fish and brewis and fishermen's bruise for my husband, I am not a fish lover myself. we just celebrated Canada Day and there was fish and brewis at the food court, unfortunately the demand was greater than the supply.
