I'm still learning how to use my new laptop. I haven't found out yet how to send pics with my replies. Soon though I will have several pics of quilts that I've made in the past and one's that I'm working on at prestent. I have a building blocks quilt on my rack now. If I would have known before just how much work goes into hand quilting this particular one I may not have chose it. Oh well, it is a gift for my gramma, she loves purple so all the blocks are in lavendar shades and the back is blue. It really makes the front pop!!

By the way, I'm from the mid to eastern part of Illinois. I live in a city called Morris.

Did route 66 use to go through Morris? I seem to remember driving through a Morris between St. Louis and Chicago, years ago, before I-55.

Route 66 and I55 both go through Dwight, IL. At Dwight you would exit onto Route 47 North. Morris is about 20 minutes or so from Dwight. I love living here but there is only one quilt shop and the local WalMart no longer has a sewing section. I have to go to Joliet to do some "serious fabric shoping." :)

Thanks for the clarification. My sister and I took off from 66 on one trip and came back on a really different route, we might have gone through then, or mayby my memory is playing tricks on me again. Thanks for locating yourself for me!
