I started quilting 2 years ago. I had a friend get me started she taught me how to hold the needle and make a running stitch from their I have made 2 double quilts and many lap and crib quilts. I love to shop for my material. And when I get home I start cutting and sewing. When its done I can't believe that I made this project from scraps of material and a needle and thread. I have since found a small group of ladies to quilt with and we have so much fun. We go to shop hops and quilt shows. I can't wait to get to know all of you. And I still have a lot to learn.

Hi Jeff City!! I just got off the phone with my sister in Law in Columbia!! We talked quilts, as we often do. She is strictly hand stitch her pieces and hand quilt. She does beautiful work. I got her to lurk around on this forum. I hope you will jump in and enjoy the company and info.
