I'm new! I want to do some chicken scratch on gingham and need some instructions and patterns...??? My church has a "helping hands" quilt group and I would like to try to make some blocks...

Click on search. Type in chicken scratch and it'll find all things posted to that. Happy hunting.

    Susie,
I just ordered some books with patterns. Here's the letter the lady sent to me.

You may order this item from my website (www.northwestneedlework.com). When you reach the site enter “Chicken Scratch” in the Search field, click Search and it should come right up. A $15.00 order will get you Free Shipping anywhere in North America!

I got my books in just a short time. I am planning to make a chicken scratch quilt in the very near future. I've got one block that I finished 20+ years ago so, I'm already started!!!

As Debbie indicated above there is a strand on chicken scratch that I started just a short time back.

Thank you so much! That was fast! I geuss my question is how do you space the stitches to get that circle stitch? Do you just work on the dark spaces and leave the white ones?

Thank you. I live in Amarillo Texas. My sister lives in Jefferson City Missouri and I have been trying to get moved there. Such a beautiful place.
