Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I am also a mother of a son who is in the US Air Force. He has been in for over 7 years and plans to make it a career choice. He just was transferred to San Antonio, Texas. His wife and children will be following he in December.

Hello from Modesto! The site allpeoplequilt.com has a black and white quilt called Highlight that look fairly easy. It has a bit of yellow but you could always use another color. Good luck!

I assume you are talking about Singing Dog Quilt Works. They went out of business about a year and a half ago, for a variety of reasons. We do have two great ones in Cameron Park, which is a little closer to you! High Sierra Quilt Works and Shared Stitches. If you're up this way, let me know and we can go raid their shops together! LOL
