Hi from Shanghai!

So yeah, I’ve seen the sashiko from Japan, but being curious and wondering what, if any, traditional Chinese quilting is done, I ran across this:

Unfortunately all the links seem dead! So tell us, what's the scoop?
Welcome!

Most of the quilters I've met since I've been here Steve are from elsewhere. There are a lot of Scandanavian and Dutch quilters in the area. The Chinese ladies are much more into embroidery than they are quilts. And silk of course, they embroider on silk fabrick using silk threads. I'm learning and am in the process of making a bamboo picture for my husband's birthday in May.
