Hi from Sisters, OR!
Hi I'm Kelly!
I'm new to quilting but not terribly new to sewing...the town has FORCED me to quilt, and after years of being tied up in someone's basement with random tortures I've surrendered to it!
Honestly I love it! What do they say, while in Rome you do as the Romans? I may never have the skillset of the people around me...and EPP makes me twitchy to even consider trying, but I'm here and I'm having a great time!

Welcome to the QB from SE Michigan! I have a feeling I would like your dudgeon. Do you have space to share?? There are lot of experienced quilters that can help you along the way. Jump right in and join the fun.

Hello, Feather. In complicated modern relationships, my mother's 2nd husband (post-divorce) lived very near Sisters for a couple of years, he's since moved back to his birth in Whidbey Island. I'm waving from closer to Seattle.
Sometimes we don't really know things are a possibility until we are exposed to them -- or in the case of Sisters, hit over the head repeatedly
