02-15-2014Hi, I'm Lyra and I live in South Florida. I've been quilting on and off for a few years. I have two finished quilts under my belt.
The first was a blue and yellow log cabin in the straight furrows pattern for my cousins baby. The second one was called Chain of Jewels a pattern from Quiltmaker magazine. It was mostly burgundy with a lot of dark rich colors and a cream background.
I'm expecting my first baby November 18th and decided to get back into quilting again more seriously. I want to make a baby quilt for my baby in gender neutral colors since I do not know if it is a girl or a boy yet.
I look forward to getting to know everyone here and hope to become a regular and contributing member on the board.
