I'm from Putney, Vermont, just retired and hope to spend more time sewing. I am enjoying the topics, pictures and comments from everyone. I can learn so much just by reading. I wish there were classes around but not many quilt shops. Thanks for all your topics and discussions.

We were not affected by the hurricane, but some friends lost their homes and others were stranded without power and couldn't get out due to the road being washed away. The towns near us were all hit very hard and recovery is slow but we're tough in Vermont and we'll get through this. Hope to never have another hurricane pass through, it was scary.
