Up North

Hi, I have been surfing this site for a while now and decided I want to share a little. I just started quilting altho my mom, grandmother and great Aunt did a lot of quilting. I love to hand quilt, nothing fancy so far. I tried to post lastnight but I think my picture was too big. So am trying again. I love all crafts and anything new is like a dare to me so I have to try it. I am starting my third quilt. My first was a full size and I think I had beginners luck, the second a queen for a friend gave me fits! This one now is a twin-I tend to do things backwards.
I live in North East Michigan and grew up on the shores of Lake Huron. Married, moved into the country and raised 5 boys, now they are on their own and I have time for quilting.
