Hi, I'm new to the message board thing. But have enjoyed reading everyones postings. I've done some small quilt projects and love to hand sew. I tend to collect fabric and patterns and then wish for time. It's hard to put sewing into an otherwise full life. I work full time off the farm and help care for aging parents. I also do my email from work, dail-up just isn't fast enough from home. I'm off to a busy weekend. We're still waiting for the last of the sheep to lamb. I look forward to chating. Ellen

Welcome to the board. You'll enjoy it.
I was also looking around the different threads and noted your son got National Honor Society distinctions. Wow! For a child with autism his success scholastically sure does speak volumes for the supportive parents who raised him. Good job to your son and to you! I've volunteered in the schools for years, was a social services caseworker/manager for years and have found over and over again that parents are the child's first teachers, their most ardent supporters, mouth pieces and advocates for the child's rights. Keep up your good work!
