I am so happy to find this site. Thru the years, I have sewed a lot, but have not really quilted.

My best friend has lung cancer and I am attempting to make a prayer shawl quilt for her. She is a very accomplished quilter, but I am sure she will appreciate my attempt.

I want is to be very soft.....thinking I could use a soft fleese on the back. Would the be ok?
