Wink New to Quilting Board and quilting

    Hello from the Midwest,
I have been quilting for a couple of years but am wanting to do everything. I have a conventional machine that I've had for 30 years and sewn just about everything under the sun. I live in Missouri but spend half each month in Kansas helping take care of my Mom. My sewing goes with me.
I am married and have two adult children. Neither are married so alas no Grandchildren. We have a cat and four small dogs that we love and spoil a lot.
I love history and have been collecting Civil War Fabric and am in the process of completing a quilt to commemorate that period.
The only thing I have trouble with is I want to learn it all and take on too much. I find quilting helps fill part of the void that developed when my kids left. I love it and want to learn more

Welcome from Southwest Missouri. I am very glad you joined us. This board is a lot of fun and help in any area that a person needs (and not only quilting).

Welcome from upstate New York. Stay around and you will learn tons of new things and get more inspiration than you know what to do with. I'm fairly new and have joined a couple of swaps and had lots of fun. Take a look around and see where you fit in.
