I am here from Iowa
I am not sure how I stumbled into this forum...looks so interesting! I am a prolific shopper of beautiful quilting fabrics. And, I sew a lot of charity quilts got our community Christmas projects and a Burn Victim camp, as well as hospice, etc. I started a beautiful applique quilt...that is a learning experience with Lollipop design and Kaffe Fasset fabrics.
We have two sons and four grands...no pets, just to difficult when we go to the southwest in the winter. Thru Covid, I have developed a whole new set of friends....the hosts on You Tube videos. Aren’t they addicting?

Tartan, perhaps you should join me in this venture of applique...I’m doing machine applique on my Baby Lock. She has such a pretty stitch.
Waal, we were in Oskaloosa during RAGBRAI, and stopped for lunch at the Methodist Church...what a wonderful Chicken something. No, we don’t ride...we chauffeur belongings for 6 riders, and feed them!

Welcome to the QB from SE Michigan! Just jump right into the different forums and have a lot of fun. Learn a lot and make some wonderful quilts and develop so great online relationships with people who love fabrics the way you do. I love this board and have been around these parts for a good number of years. There is always something new to learn and it is a world of fun. There are some great swaps and you soon enough you might love joining one or more of them. Again welcome to the QB,
