i have been making quilts for years but still consider myself a newbie when it comes right down to it. i have had to start over again due to surgery which fused my left arm and so i am learning all over again. my mom does all the piecing (she taught classes in it for years as a home ec teacher) and i do the quilting part for those we love. the only part i don't love doing is the binding unless it is while watching a great ball game during a snowy evening. (yes, i must be inside for this part!) my frame is a grace z44 and i love it dearly. i can't say for sure but i think i liked the older wooden model best, but the fabri-fast model is beginning to grow on me...if i could just get some pointers from some of you on how to get it set up without smashing up my knuckles! Hope the holidays keep you all in stitches! :-)
