I found this board this evening and decided to sign up. I started quilting back in 2004 while recovering from major abdominal surgery and following chemo treatments. Ended up taking a break following moving to south Texas from Iowa. The room was storing boxes. Got that cleared out to make my sewing room/office. So am back in the business of piecing quilt tops.

Welcome. I've been on the board for 10 years and enjoy it very much. I'm in Iowa because my only child married an Iowan. I lost my husband 15 years ago and Oklahoma was too far away to see her and the grandchildren very often, so here I am. By the way I grew up in Texas. but spent my married life in Oklahoma.
