My father passed away last year and my hope is to use some of his shirts to make throws, pillow, etc. for the grandchildren. Does anyone have ideas? These are cotten or flannel shirts - not t-shirts. Thanks for any ideas and remember, I'm new to quilting.

Welcome to the board. Do a search here using "shirts" and you'll see lots of ideas. Sorry for your loss.
