Default I quilt but need help

Hi,
I am gn. New to this site. It looks like I can get help here. Here is my question. I made a wall hanging
and used spray quilting glue, but sprayed too much. I wonder if this stuff washes out. Is it ok not to quilt the wall
hanging. I have not mastered free motion yet. Since it already has the binding and is basically finished I didn't think
I could quilt it now. HELP!!! I am going to try and load a pic. Thanks

The wall hanging is very pretty! I especially love the little lady bug!

Assuming that you you used washable spray basting to glue the fabric, yes, it can be washed out. If you're referring to some other kind of glue, then I don't know.

It's your wall hanging, so you don't need to quilt it if you don't want to.

Hi gn, I did the very same thing once and the spray adhesive for fabric looked awful but it almost all washed out. I think that's pretty. Good luck and I'm sure others will have advice too. We're so glad you're here. Everyone has been so helpful! Welcome to the Quilt Board from North Carolina.

Welcome from Michigan, very beautiful wall hanging. For me there are no rules, you do what you think is best for you. It is a wall hanging and not going to get used, I think you will be okay.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. Depends on what kind of spray you used, I use 505 and it washes out. If possible, I would use my regular foot on my machine and just quilt around the big flower. Match the thread to the background fabric and just outline stitch it, rotating the wall hanging as you go.
It isn' t very big so you could leave your cute little wall hanging unquilted.

Welcome, from Texas!

Your wall hanging is lovely! I'm agreeing with Tartan, on the outlining. Can't help with the spray glue question, as I use Elmer's School Glue (which washes out, completely).
