My mom lives in Florida now - we're originally from upstate NY. We have 3 things in common. Birthday, quilting, and residence of family. Thanks for the welcome. I love the site already.

Thanks to you all for your warm welcome and encouragement on my projects. So far, just little stuff. Will add a few more pictures soon. Tomorrow is quilting club. Also fun. Quilters are all such kind and caring people - I have not met one I did not instantly like. Looking forward to hearing from you all again sometime.

It is "sew" nice to see a male quilter on this site. I appreciate your kind words. That is exactly what I needed to hear when deciding to move on to more difficult projects or continue practicing what I have learned so far.
