I'm new here.

Hello neighbor!
I finally met a quilter from Texas. Thanks for replying. How long have you been quilting? I'm still kinda new to it. I still make a lot of mistakes, and learning every day. It is very fullfulling to me. When I'm done with a quilt, and look at it, I feel like I've really accomplished something special.

Lots of quilters from Texas on this board. Maybe you will make some new friends this way. And lots of long distance friends also. Welcome from cool Finger Lakes area of NY state. (My Houston daughter-in-law said it was 104 at her house a couple days ago. whew!)

Its been that for the last 15 days, we set a new record. 105 is nothing. Everything here is brown and dry. They can't even feed the cattle anymore.
I'm going to Illinois on the 26th, for two weeks. I'll have cooler weather then. I have to watch my granddaughter while my daughter and her hubby go to Hawii. Wish I could go too. hehe
