Gerry -- please don't wait to start getting together with other quilters -- Maybe there is someone near to you that would like to meet you. You can learn from others and they will learn from you. It is a good way to meet new friends

Welcome from Canada-Manitoba, good forum and great people to share your quilt interest.. Lots of info/networking out there to teach you and many free patterns to get you hooked in your hobby.. Anytime you have a question someone is sure to help out or direct you the proper site.

My learning curb is slow but looking back from my 1st day lots of improvement. I can spent
long cold winter days on quilts. In time I have discovered some patterns work better for me
that others.. Lots of UFO's =Unfinished objects.

Welcome from N Texas. Thanks for sharing your story here with us. Thanks for your honesty about your quilting experiences. We all had to start somewhere and it is a learning process. Hopefully you can find lots of resources here like I have.
