My cats here at home each have their own individual sleeping spots and also have mini quilts to lay on. My cats most likely must have been thinking I was making the quilts for them. When I am at my sewing machine, i have at least 3 of my furbabies in the quilting room with me. One lays on top of a cat condo, one lays on a side table and one lays on a storage bin i have under my sewing table. They are all curious of what i am doing, but I love it.

Hello and welcome from SW Iowa. Glad to have you here. I love what you are doing for those poor homeless kitties. Kudos.

Welcome and thanks for making quilts for cats. I made cat nip mats a couple of years ago and gave them to my local shelter. They gave them to people adopting cats so the cats would have a toy to go home with.

Welcome Fratcat from another cat lover who likes to quilt. My Toby usually has to be right in my sewing room when I am sewing. Wonderful that you can help out at the pet shelter and I know the critters loved the mini quilts. You will love this site. Post some pics of some of your projects.
