Hi and welcome.
I just joined in Aug. I dearly love all the tips, pictures and everything about this site. I have met a new quilting friend that lives pretty close to me. We met for a quilt demo one evening and then she went with me to another the following day. We plan on getting together again soon. Just love to spend time here.

I use to live in Molalla... Love that area. For the quilter from BeaverCreek Oregon. Thanks everyone for all the comments. Looking forward to getting to know more about quilting and making new friends.

Hello from the Bay Area of California... you are lucky in that there are multiple Local Quilt Stores in the southern part of the state (along the cruise line path of the Inside Passage). I know because I check them out every time I'm up there. However, if they are operated by the cruise lines, you may not have access to them year round.
