Hello everyone, I feel so welcomed on this site. thank you My name is Karen Howe, Ft Pierre, SD. I have 4 grown children with 7 grandchildren. I have made 5 quilts for my family. I have an old old quilt top given to me by my mother which I am trying to put together... I have a tote of material that I plan on making some quilts soon. I love butterflies and again thank you so much for welcoming me into your world....

Welcome from South Louisiana. I love butterflies. My stash of butterfly fabrics is on the back burner just waiting to become a quilt.

I found a pattern where the blocks are set kinda topsy turvy (I thought this would add motion to the butterflies). I'm sure there's a name for them, but the name escapes me at the moment. I thought I'd fussy cut the butterflies and use fabrics of colors of the butterfles to do the sashings around each butterfly. Got that?
